The Michaelmas daisy is beloved of bees, a joyful site as it continues from summer into Autumn and can be seen flowering on Michaelmas 29th September, St. Michael’s feast day. St. Michael is the angel of protection.
Wearable symbols and talismans can connect us to our ancient past and our present journey.
The Expanded Skies Michaelmas Daisy Pendant is totally handcrafted in 100% recycled fine silver (999) with 24ct gold accents.
Keum boo is a traditional Korean gilding technique. I apply 24ct heavy gold foil with heat and pressure, which makes each piece unique. It can be worn every day or for more formal occasions.
Dimensions
The pendant has a 12mm (approx) width and 2.5mm depth, with a 5mm approx bail for the chain.
The pendant comes with a 1.5mm sterling silver (925) Italian spiga (rolled) chain made from recycled silver. Various chain length options available (see below).
All jewellery is beautifully and sustainably packaged. Please see the packaging page to find out details of the felt pouch made from wool from organically, reared sheep in Somerset.
