Returns
I hope you will be delighted with your beautiful Expanded Skies jewellery. Care and attention to detail is taken to ensure that your jewellery arrives safely. If damage has occurred during delivery, please email me within 5 calendar days of receiving your order: emma@expandedskies.co.uk
Each piece is custom made, so please be sure before you place an order.
Aligned with the Consumer Rights Act, if you are not happy with your purchase, please email me within 14 days of receiving your item to organise its return and a refund or replacement. You will then need to return the item within 14 calendar days. You will need to return your jewellery in perfect condition and in its original packaging. Custom orders or commissions may not be eligible for refund or exchange.
Return postage costs will be refunded if the item was faulty or the incorrect item was sent.
Expanded Skies are unable to provide refunds or replacements where damage has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
For any returns, it is strongly recommended that you return your jewellery using tracked and insured using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service. Expanded Skies will not be unable to refund items lost in transit where they are not insured in transit.
For health and safety reasons, refunds cannot be made for on earrings.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel an order placed online at Expanded Skies that has not yet been dispatched, please email me within 5 calendar days of your order date. Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to email me to request a refund. You would then have a further 14 days to return the item to me. The item/s need to be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition for a refund.
Any refunds will be processed within 30 calendar days. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Unless they are faulty, bespoke items, and earrings for hygiene reasons, cannot be refunded.
Late and Lost Deliveries
I will provide you with the Royal Mail tracking number (or international postal tracking, where relevant) when I post your order, so that you can monitor your delivery.
UK Delivery - Royal Mail classes items as being lost 20 days after posting. Refunds of lost items cannot be made until after this time.
International Deliveries – there may be a number of postal services involved in your delivery, tracking numbers will be provided where possible. There may be delays caused by custom checks.
Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is one where you can receive and sign for the item. Expanded Skies cannot be held responsible for lost items are delivered and signed for by neighbours or workplaces.
Damaged Items
If you should receive an item that is damaged or not what you ordered, please email me within 5 working days. I will try and help you as quickly as possible. I can arrange for you to return the faulty item to me by post and re-arrange delivery of a new or correct item.
With careful use, your jewellery should last a long time. It is guaranteed for 6 months. Please contact me if it becomes faulty in this timeframe. After this time repairs may be possible for a small fee.
Cockington Artisan Christmas Market, Sunday 8th December 2024
I'm very happy to have been invited to take part in the Cockington Artisan Christmas Market! I'll will have a stand of latest pieces and sale items, alongside resident and guest makers.
This is a free event, 11.00am -4,00pm, with lots of seasonal festivities, activities and warming refreshments!
Do come and say hello! If you can't make up your mind what jewellery to choose, it's a good opportunity to come try on pieces that you, your family or friends would like for Christmas!

Green Maker Initiative Fair, MAKE Southwest, Saturday 9th November 2024
Expanded Skies will be at MAKE Southwest, in Bovey Tracey for the Green Maker Initiative Event. There is a full programme of craft events and 12 featured makers. I will have new work and a range of items including the crystals and silver stands ready for Christmas! It would be great to see you at there, do come say hello!

Expanded Skies Sale at Cockington Court Apple Day, Sunday 13th September 2024
Expanded Skies will be one of 40 stands at the beautiful Cockington Court, near Torquay, as part of their free Apple Day festival, this Sunday 13th October. I will be having a pre-Christmas sale of many items, prior to the launch of new work at MAKE Southwest in November.

Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey, June 2024
The Craft Festival is back in Bovey Tracey, celebrating its 20th year!
I'll be giving metalsmithing demonstrations and showcasing the Expanded Skies Jewellery and Precious Objects stand, with new designs, as part of the Green Maker Initiative in the MAKE Southwest tent, on Friday 7th June, 10.00-5.00pm.

Native Makers Fair, May 2024
A couple of exciting updates! This Saturday 4th May is Native Makers at Royal William Yard, Plymouth. Together with a collection of new jewellery, I will be launching the Expanded Skies Crystal Cave, a range of gorgeous, ethically sourced crystals, rocks, minerals and fossils.

Mother’s Day is on its way, the 10th March, and I’d like share with you Mother’s Day and spring gifts offer. Purchase any items totalling £100.00 or more from the ‘Available Now Collection’ and receive a complementary pair of the popular Dartmoor Rocks Studs (pictured below) worth £35.00 (until 14th April 2024).
Of course, all the jewellery comes beautifully wrapped in the organic felt pouches and recycled berry tissue paper and linen and cotton ribbon.
Yesterday, the London Assay Office returned my River Dart hammered rings, sterling silver inlaid with 9ct gold, hallmarked, so sizes K-R are now available and ready to post too!
Green Maker Initiative Fair, January 13th 2024
This coming Saturday 13th January, the leading professional craft organisation MAKE Southwest, Riverside Mill in Bovey Tracey, Devon, will be holding their annual Green Maker Initiative Sale, encouraging sustainable craft practices and for makers to sell their seconds and samples. Doors open at 10.00-4.00pm, free entry, and there’s a lovely new café!
Expanded Skies will be one of thirteen featured GMI designer makers. There will be samples from the new earring range and other pieces from across the collections.
