The Expanded Skies Sun Over High Moor Citrine Brooch is a drawing the sun moving over the high moor with hand engraving, 24ct gold accents, featuring this beautiful faceted citrine!

A simple and elegant addition to any outfit.

Totally handcrafted on the edge of Dartmoor. The front of the brooch is made from recycled fine silver with hand engraving and recycled 24ct gold accents, applied using the keum boo gilding process. The citrine is held in place by sterling silver claws. The brooch pin is made from sterling silver. 

The Sri Lankan 12mm citrine is sourced from the leading UK supplier of ethical gemstones, Nineteen48 Ltd and mined and cut by artisan miners in Sri Lanka. 

Handcrafted on the edge of Dartmoor in Emma Whittaker’s workshop.

The brooch measures:

Length 50mm x width 20mm, depth 10mm-1mm approx.  

With a handcrafted sterling silver pin and catch.

12mm, round cut, faceted citrine.

Presentation and packaging

The brooch is packaged in a beautiful presentation box, handcrafted in Cornwall with recycled board and textured paper. The interior of the box is lined with natural felt from organically reared sheep from Fernhill Farm in Somerset and berry tissue made from recycled fibres. The sticker is home compostable.

The box comes with a card featuring a photograph of Dartmoor, taken by Emma, with details of the brooch, printed on FSC certified paper. All the packaging is 100% recyclable, but ideally is reused again and again.
