Expanded Skies Sapphire Yellow Heart Pendant has a beautiful ethically sourced Sri Lankan yellow faceted sapphire set in 9ct gold on a silver heart wound with 9ct gold accompanied by a small silver disk. Totally handcrafted on the edge of Dartmoor and made from high quality recycled sterling silver and recycled gold. Understated and beautiful, it can be worn every day or for special occasions.
Geologically: Sapphires and rubies are all corundum minerals, an aluminium oxide formed of hexagonal (trigonal) crystals. Traces of iron can produces the yellow colour.
Energetically: Yellow sapphires are often used in energy healing to stimulate creativity, balance the solar plexus chakra and bring alignment to the mind and the will. Yellow sapphires are associated with bringing prosperity and abundance.

Dimensions
The pendant measures 11mm across, with a depth of 12mm approx. Each heart is individually made and vary very slightly.
