The Expanded Skies Heaven and Earth Raw Garnet Ring has a beautiful raw Norwegian garnet set in a distinctive completely handcrafted engraved star claw setting in 9ct gold.
This is a unique piece, one-of-a-kind. Designed and made on the edge of Dartmoor and made from high quality recycled gold, hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
Geologically: Almandine Garnets has a cubic crystalline structure. Their composition is iron aluminium silicate.
Culturally: The word garnet comes from the Latin word granatus, meaning pomegranate. These Norwegian garnets are shaped like large pomegranate seeds. Garnets have been used for centuries in jewellery including by the ancient Egyptians.
Energetically: Garnets are often associated with grounding, new life, creativity and bringing balance to the base chakra.

The ring is size I and measures 12mm x 12mm, with a depth of 10mm, approx.
The raw, unpolished garnet measures is roughly circular 12 x 12 mm and has natural facets, inclusions and textured surfaces
The comfortable substantial 2mm square band in 9ct gold has a distinctive twist.
