The Expanded Skies Expanded Skies Dartmoor Sun and Stars Pink Sapphire Brooch is inspired by the rising sun and the emerging stars in Dartmoor skies.

A simple and elegant addition to any outfit.

Totally handcrafted on the edge of Dartmoor. The front of the brooch is made from recycled fine silver with hand engraving and recycled 24ct gold accents, applied using the keum boo gilding process. The brooch pin is made from sterling silver.

The brooch measures:

Length 54mm x width 20mm, depth 7mm-1mm approx.  

With a handcrafted sterling silver pin and catch.

4mm, round cut, Sri Lankan pink sapphire. Sourced from the leading UK supplier of ethical gemstones, Nineteen48 Ltd and mined and cut by artisan miners in Sri Lanka. 

Presentation and packaging

The brooch is packaged in a beautiful presentation box, handcrafted in Cornwall with recycled board and textured paper. The interior of the box is lined with natural felt from organically reared sheep from Fernhill Farm in Somerset and berry tissue made from recycled fibres. The sticker is home compostable.

The box comes with a card featuring a photograph of Dartmoor, taken by Emma, with details of the brooch, printed on FSC certified paper. All the packaging is 100% recyclable, but ideally is reused again and again.
