The Expanded Skies Dartmoor Daisy Green Sapphire Necklace in sterling silver and 9ct gold is inspired by the Erigeron Karvinskianus, commonly known as the 'Dartmoor Daisy'. While originally from Mexico, the daisy was introduced to Britain in 1856 and now can be found growing wildly in stone walls and crevices, attracting an array of pollinators.
First Emma draws the daisy onto the sterling silver and then she hand engraves the design. She saws and files the daisy and then she sets the sapphire in 9ct gold. The bail is made from recycled sterling silver, hand engraved, formed and riveted.
